We enjoyed our stay in the home,everything was neat and clean. The only down side was that the home was hot when we arrived, since the Vista Cay Management knew when we were arriving it would have been nice if the air conditioner had been lowered to the suggested temp, also additional toilet paper could have been left in each bathroom. We would stay at a Vista Cay home again in future.
The only problem I had was that this unit was advertised as having a playstation and although it did have the playstation it didn't have the power cords necessary to operation the game. If we'd known that, we would have provided other games for the teenaged boys that were present. We didn't bring our WII or X Box because we thought the unit had an operating Playstation. That was our only disappointment.
Dear Doris, I'm sorry to hear that the necessary equipment was not available to enable proper use of the Playstation equipment. I wish you had advised our office of this during your stay, where we may have been able to procure the relevant cable/cord, which may have made your stay even more enjoyable. I will use this feedback to go to check the playstation equipment, which will hopefully benefit our next guest. My daughter plays on a travel volleyball club and plays in the Orlando AAU tournment in June each year. The first year she played we chose to rent a home with a pool, it was some distance from the covention center and really was bare bones. The next 3 years we opted to stay at Vista Cay with the majority of our Club and have been very happy that we chose to do so. It is perfect for our needs, has everything we need, is clean, and very close to the convention center and Disney. The pool is very nice and clean and we used the workout room very often. The only thing I would wish could be better is that we rented a townhome and unless you had the bottom bedroom as you went up to the second level it really gets warm, the 3rd story is very warm. Other than that I can't think of anything that could have been better, we truly enjoy staying here and will be back next year in June.
I spent a month at Vista Cay. Everything about the place is wonderful. The unit I stayed in was not only beautiful, but well done with amenities. Had everything I needed to make myself at home. Vista Cay seems minutes from any Orlando landmark you want to visit. I will definitely stay at VC again.
Myself and five other friends spent a wonderful week at Tideview. Anytime I'm in the Orlando area I NEVER EVER EVER LOOK FOR A HOTEL I ALWAYS RUN BACK TO VISTA CAY!!!!! The location is PERFECT. The units are AMAZING. Its a true HOME AWAY FROM HOME. The place was perfect for adults and kids. Everything is always in order when you arrive. There are no lines to check-in and no front desk to report to. You just walk into your perfectly cleaned unit and start LIVING. I would definitely recommend this unit or ANY UNIT IN VISTA CAY - especially if you're bringing kids or have several friends and want to spend a lot of your vacation together. The amenities at Vista Cay are exceptional! We'll be back next year and the next year and the next year :-)
