We booked the condo last minute and really had no idea as to what we were walking into. All I can say is FABULOUS! The house was so beautiful and it had everything that we could have needed or wanted. I took my Mom, Sister, Niece (5), Nephew (2) and my son (5). There was PLENTY of room for all of us and I really loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The washer and dryer was a real plus since staying for two weeks required laundry. We went to Orlando to spend the week at Disney and the location was wonderful. It took us about 8-10 minutes to get to the Disney parks and only about 5 minutes to get to Sea World. We were 1 block away from International Dr. After Disney every night we would take the kids down to the pool and while they swam we would relax in the hot tub. The gym was great and for a runner it offered plenty of cardio machines. I will never stay in a hotel again. Vista Cay was wonderful and I recommend it to all. I can't wait for next years trip!
We enjoyed our second stay at Vista Cay and the townhouse at which we stayed on this trip. Earlier we stayed in a condo on the property. Things were as advertised. I would suggest that they invest in some type of vanity or at the least a nice table for the downstairs bathroon so that a person has a place for toiletries - it just has a sink at present. The biggest "complaint" I had was that there was only one key, thus with part of the family going to one place and others going elsewhere, you were out of luck getting into the townhouse unless you are very good at coordinating time. Either put on a combination lock as other townhouses use, or add a second key. However, I was very pleased overall with the townhouse. Thanks for having us.
This was our family's first stay in a resort condo during a conference. We usually do hotels. This was much better. We could relax. There was more room. We could eat at home if we wanted with a grocery store very close by. A few of the doors don't close well or at all. It seems as though the carpet and furniture have been in service a while. But overall, the facility was great for us. The resort was next to the Orange County Convention Center and just down Universal Blvd from Sea World, Wet-n-Wild, and Universal - great location
Vista Cay is very well located, closed to everything. Great access. Beautiful arcade and pool. The townhouse is beautiful. 3 levels of stairs is a little tired, but the kids enjoyed. It's my second time in Vista Cay. I stayed before in another townhouse. I'll stay probably again but I'll try a flat apartment next time.
