Unit amenities include; towels, linen, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, microwave oven, refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, electric toaster, central air/heat, dishes, cookware and utensils. Also available are washing and drying facilities, making it easier to have those ‘little one’s’ ready in time. Why pack a big suitcase when you can wash their favorite sports jersey or best-loved dress! We thoroughly enjoyed the unit and the facilities. However, I was very disappointed to be charged $25 for a hair dryer that we were told we took from the unit. We did not use a hair dryer from the unit and do not remember seeing one. It was very frustrating to receive a charge without having any way of proving that we did not take the hair dryer. There was not an inventory list in the unit when we arrived so I had no way of proving anything. For $25, this left a very bad lasting impression and makes me hesitant to stay again or recommend Vista Cay. When I wrote by email about this matter after it occurred, I did not receive a response. I would welcome a review and resolution to this situation.
We stayed at Vista cay for a week in July-Aug of 2008. The condo was beautiful- 3 large bedrooms-room for 6 adults. Everyone had their own space. Felt like a home away from home. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room,comfortable living room. Flat panel tv with playstation game system. Large porch overlooking the lake. We spent several evenings sitting on the porch watching the fireworks from Seaworld. Pool area was very nice and close by. Kids loved the gameroom-played a lot of billiards. Large theater room with great variety of movies you could reserve.Free wireless internet in our condo. Pictures on the web were exactly what we found when we arrived.Very clean and well kept condo. No surprises. Key was conveniently waiting for us in keybox right outside our door. Easy check in and out. Very convenient to Seaworld and Universal Studios. Resort is located on a quiet section of Universal Drive behind the convention center with a Publix grocery store right next door.Would definitely stay h
Our family enjoyed our stay at Vista Cay. The condo was decorated beautifully with all the comforts of home. The grounds were nice, the pool area was nice. We would definitely stay here again.
