Unit VC3047 provided an exceptional 8 night accomodation for my family of 6. The unit was very clean, never did I feel uncomfortable about sleeping in a strange bed or walking in the house barefoot. As well the unit had high quality furnishings, decor, and construction finishes. The unit did not furnish common items such as bath soap, toilet paper for the entire stay, garbage bags, etc. This was not a surprise to me though as this is common in a condo/house type rental. The washer and dryer in the condo was helpful to have during the stay as well as the full size kitchen. It is much less expensive to have a few meals at home than to eat out every meal, or have a quick breakfast before heading out for the day. The trash receptacles inside the building common area were convenient and clean. The Vista Cay Resort was conveniently located to Publix, shopping, restaurants, and the Disney Parks were just a short drive away. Ultimately, I will definately stay here again and highly reco
our business dealings were with polite prompt professional and friendly people, from our first phone call to the last day of our stay. the condo was an immaculate picture perfect vacation retreat.the clubhouse had a nice pool and spa,the private theater was a huge hit with our family.although there was contruction in the developement it did not hinder us in anyway. we are looking forward to our next visit and to seeing the completion of the additions that are underway.two thumbs up!
We came for six nights in May. We were five adults and a baby. We rented a crib, and it was waiting for us upon arrival. The accomodations were top quality, with three spacious bedrooms and two baths. The master bath was very large. Each bedroom was furnished with a flat screen television, as was the living room. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped. We cooked breakfast every morning. There was a veranda overlooking a small lake and it was furnished with a patio table and chairs. The condo was also equipped with a washer and dryer, and we used them twice during our stay. We swam in the spacious pool and used the pool tables and video games in the clubhouse. We were about fifteen minutes from the Disney Parks and even closer to the Universal Studio Theme Park and Sea World. Vista Cay is a beautiful property. We stayed here last year. However, we did not realize this year that there was massive construction of an apartment complex in the front of Vista Cay. We had stayed last year and enjoyed the quiet spacious feel of the setting. Fortunately there was no noise, but it is not a welcoming entrance to the resort. This year we enjoyed the lake view of a Monterey condo much more compared to the town house we rented last year with no view. Our main issue in the condo was the air conditioning, it was most of the time too warm especially at night. The heat pump was programmed and we could not change it. We eventually had to go buy a fan for the master bedroom. The dishwasher did not close properly so that was a bit annoying. Overall, we did enjoy having a spacious condo and would recommend it.

I was hoping you wouldn't ask. We had no AC the first night so no one was able to sleep. I called the management and was told there was nothing they could do till the next day when they could check with the warranty company. No one wants to hear excuses when you are in a HOT condo with 5 people. The ac was nort fixed until late the following day. I was surprised to hear that the management company gets 50% of the rental fee by an owner. The managment should have bent over backwards to solve a problem. I would never return to Vista Cay. There is too much available in Orlando to have to deal with the mess that we did. They didn't supply any supplies to help until you got to the store. I asked for extra towels and was told I needed to wash what we had. Bad experience ........................
Hi Janice, Thankyou for taking the time to complete this review. This is an individually owned property which is currently under the cover of the manufacturer's / builder's warranty. Unfortunately, due to the late hour your call was received, the company was unable to get a response from the builder's emergency line. The Management Company delivered 3 fans to the unit that evening, hoping to minimize any discomfort overnight. As you have confirmed, the A/C was fixed the following day. I do not know where you heard that the Management Company gets 50% of the rental fee. I can actually state that this Management Company only collects 10% in commission. Towels and linens are provided in greater quantaties than the minimum regulatory requirement. A washer and dryer are also provided in each unit for guest convenience. All condo's and townhomes are Self Catering and therefore it is a great benefit having a publix supermarket adjacent to the Vista Cay property, where guests ge
