When I booked Vista Cay and this condo I said that I would be happy if it was 60% as wonderful as it looked online--90% would have been more like it! The view was the best in the complex.The location, though close to Dr. Phillips Restaurant Row, was far enough south to be away from the maddening crowds! The furnishings were most attractive and comfortable (except for the mattresses which are in need of replacement).The appliances are top of the GE line.The management company was cooperative from the start.Bethany and Nancy went out of their way to inventory flatware, serving pieces and cooking utensils since they knew that I was having Thanksgiving dinner for my family of twelve and would have to fill in some pieces. The pool, club facilities,service and landscaping were lovely.Best of all was that the four of us who stayed at the condo enjoyed privacy and were totally out of one another's way for five days.What I liked least was that the air conditioner was set too high particularly during the night and for the large dinner. However we were able to readjust it with the help of the emergency personnel. Also, although there are four TVs, no Direct TV was available to renters since we received only local channels. This put kind of a damper on evening activity. All in all--we would never stay in a motel or hotel (even the 4-5 stars) again!!!

We stayed for 8 nights in early april with 2 adults and 2 t(w)eens 11 & 14. We had originally requested a different condo, but unfortunately the owners decided shortly after booking that they were going to stay there themselves, so we opted for this condo. Booking went smoothly with a deposit taken and balance not due until about 4 weeks before arrival. Only little niggle I have was e-mails with queries were often not replied to promptly, but when I phoned the oficce all queries were dealt with efficiently. When we arrived at the condo we were amazed how spacious it was and I must say it is very well equipped, oven microwave, coffee maker, blender and a big american fridge with water and ice-maker, as well as a good selection of glasses crockery and cutlery incl. good kitchen knives. After looking around the whole condo we discovered a few issues, one of which was the inside deadbolt was not working so we phoned the ofiice which was closed but a freephone number was left on the ansaphone which we called and we were advised that the problem would be rectified as soon as possible. When we returned from the parks the next day a message had been left and the deadbolt had been repaired. We were very pleased that it had been sorted so quickly- thanks Mike. The bedrooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and the view over the lake was nice although we did not use the balcony as they were a lot of insects flying around, which is expected in this climate. The location for us was fantastic as we went to Universal, Seaworld, Aquatica and WetnWild, all within 10 mins drive and the area is very quiet and feels safe. Another plus is the Publix supermarket 3 mins away with a great selection of good quality food and Deli section and the Nypd Pizza place, yummy! The pool area was nice although it was quite crowded when we were there and it was not open until 8 am, by which time we were on our way to the park, shame. One other little issue, I know it might sound picky, was that on arrival the bedlinen on the beds looked very crumpled and thrown together and damp towels had been left in the tumble dryer, unfinished by the maid. No real big issue but compared to the standard of the condo it was a bit of a surprise and hence just the 4 * rating. If we would come back to Orlando I would happily rent this condo again, as we had a great time and the rate was very good for what you get in return, miles better than any hotel. One tip though: bring some spare toilet roll, kitchen paper, bin bags and washing powder etc. or you will have to go and buy it as there is just one roll of paper in each bathroom.

Not especially my decorating tastes but it was a comfortable condo. I think that table is much too big for the deck area. One of the Tv's was broken and our customer service agent (Mick) was kind enough to lend us his own set. Another thing that might help others on check in is that this is the first time we were not given a key because it apparently had the system where you key in the numbers. Perhaps you could put a little note that explains how things work in this particular condo for others..e.g. trash pick up, key availablity, menus from surrounding restaurants, etc. We are always happy with the treatment that we receive at Vista Cay and plan to come back again and again.

A very spacious, well appointed apartment with great views over the lake from the balcony. There were a couple of mi nor problems on our arrival both of which were speedily rectified by the agents. Vista Cay is very convenient for all parks and International Drive. The dining table only seats four people and although it was no problem for us for larger parties it may be a difficult as some of the party would have to sit at the breakfast bar. Saying that if one wished to dine on the balcony there was seating for 6.

I love our stay with Vista Cay! It was everything that i expected and more. The unit was shockingly gorgeous, clean, and relaxing. We never expected it to be this breath-taking! I cant wait to plan the next one!

I knew that Vista Cay was in a very good location, near all the Parks and atractions in Orlando but the place was better than I expect. If I could make a sugestion I would ask for a renew in the Pool area.

Our recent stay at the Vista Cay was everything we had hoped for. It was clean, quiet and very travler freindly. We would most definately stay there again and recommend to others. One of our sinks was broken in the master bath when we first arrived, and Mick had already informed us and fixed it the next day. The only draw back was all the ducks and the few in the pool - but we were so busy we never used it. However, if we had time to use the pool it may have been nice to get the duck problem in the pool under control. But a very minor issue. THe location was central and conveinient to local attractions.

This place was beautiful! the view of this particular room was great because we had a view of the lake. Also the rooms themselves were very clean and the decorations were great!

Condo was very clean, wonderful layout, nice location. Only complaint was no access to grill. Will definately use again and will recommend to friends.

The condo was a nice stay and most importantly, VERY COZY! Felt like we were home. The only dislike about the stay was we had to supply our own tissue paper for the restrooms and how did they expect us to wash towls with no washing detergent in the wash room?? But, besides those little inconviences, it was nice!Note to self: BE SURE, to put washing powder, toliet paper, and hand soap on shopping list! ;)

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. The biggest complaint that we all had with staying in this particular unit is that there were no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. With the energy saving air conditioning unit and no ceiling fans to circulate the air throughout the night, we all woke up hot and sweaty. The other complaint's were that the towel bar had been torn out of the wall from previous tenants in the guest bathroom. So it was very limited to where you could hang your towel. Also one of the bar stools were broken from the previous tenants. We did bring the towel rack and bar stool to the attention of the managers and they were very kind, they looked into it immediately. Someone also decided to use our garbage receptacle. Luckily we only stayed one night so we didn't have very much trash. Other than that the unit's are wonderful! This was our second time staying here. We love the layout and the space that you get for the money. You can't beat it. The decor is also very nice. It is very close to being home away from home. Love the balcony as well. We will definitely stay here again in the future, maybe in a different unit though. We have to have ceiling fans in the bedrooms!

We've stayed at Vista Cay Resort for the last few years. This condo rental was a step above the rest. Location - excellent - 4th floor with views of lake / Universal fireworks out of all bedroom / living room windows. Building located right next to management office / pool / basketball courts. Immaculate. Plenty of towels / including beach towels for everyday use. Other rentals I've stayed in have had more of the "little" items - i.e., garbage bags, toilet paper, etc., but new Publix grocery store in shopping center adjacent to Vista Cay makes items easily accessible. Beds/mattresses very comfortable. Living area very comfortable. Included Nintendo 64 w/games / dart board / DVD player (DVD's available in rec room). Balcony - table w/6 chairs along with lounge chair - overlooking lake - - very nice!! Had detailed binder re: restaurants/ vista cay info etc readily available. We had some problems with the wireless connection, but was able to hook laptop up w/LAN cord, so not a huge loss. Some very minor damage in guest bathroom upon arrival,(hole in wall due to towel rack coming down)but this was fixed during our stay. Was given choice to purchase rental insurance for nominal fee and waive larger security deposit. Felt that overall communication prior to arrival could have been a bit better - I had to write and request info on address / entry code; however, once I requested, response was immediate. Will stay here again. Was very happy with this rental. Would heartily recommend to others!

Gorgeous vocation home, very spacious, and nice lakeview. We can even see the fireworks from seaworld (I believe)! Only had chance to stay 3 nights, and all of us regreted that we didn't book more nights. And we will definitely come back! The whole rental precedure is also very smooth. The staff from the rental office is also very nice and patient. Thanks for giving us the wonderful experience!
